New website completed – www.timeandplaceluxuryholidays.com
By Stuart Taylor
We have finished the design and build of our latest project: www.timeandplaceluxuryholidays.com
Time and Place Luxury Holidays are a UK based luxury holiday specialist providing tailor made holiday itineraries based on customer specification. After having the same website for 3 years Time and Place found that visitor numbers were dropping and visitor to enquiry rates were also decreasing. A full re-design of their website was required in order to keep up with the times and to make information on their site easily accessable. In addition to a full website re-design, Time and Place also required search engine optimisation to improve organic search engine results resulting in increased traffic and more enquiries.

Researching your market…
By Stuart Taylor
Many companies tend to bumble along continuing to do the same old thing year on year, with no substantial growth. In order to grow the business and become successful, a proactive approach must be adopted. Market research should be carried out by any company that is looking to expand and grow their business and profits. Market research can be used in many different ways. It can identify gaps in the market for your product/service, how your competitors are doing and can identify what your customers think about your product or service.
In most markets, it is essential to follow and keep an eye on your competitors. This can help a business keep the edge and stay one step ahead of their competitors, losing the edge could mean losing market share which can be very hard to gain back.
It is also very important to identify what your customers think of your product/service, if you do not research this you may never know and lose out on business. It is vital to get this right, as your customers are your future and keeping them happy is #1 priority.
The different types of research include:
- Questionnaires
- Interviews
- Focus Groups
- Phone interviews or questionnaires
Using more than one method is also very important to ensure the reliability of the outcome. Let us take the weight of fyour shoulders. We have extensive expertise in the market research area and can find the results you need. For more information about The Web Taylor click here to visit our home page, or contact us on 0845 519 1568
Customer Satisfaction – Essential for Customer Retention
By Stuart Taylor
A common mistake that companies make is that they concentrate on gaining new customers rather that keeping their own ones satisfied. Keeping customers is just as important, if not more important than gaining new one. In most cases it costs a company more money to gain a new customer than to keep an existing one – this particularly applies to service based organisations.
It is essential that measures are put in place to keep customers happy. There are many different schemes and plans that can be put in place in order to achieve this. A common scheme used by bigger companies is a rewards scheme. This is where a customer is rewarded for spending money or purchasing items with a company – whether it be free items or services in return or a simple communication thanking a customer for their custom.
Technology is definitely making customer satisfaction more viable, especially with the ever expanding uses for the internet. The Web Taylor have the expertise and technology to help businesses to retain and keep customers happy. If you would like more information on customer retention and satisfaction, and would like to see what we could do for your business please contact us or call 0845 519 1568
Marketing – is it really that important?
By Stuart Taylor
Growing your business can be tough – especially in times such as today when all you hear is doom and gloom, recession and credit crunch. People are tightening their belts, cutting spending and missing out on vital opportunities. Whilst it is all very well looking at reducing costs and cutting spending. There are several areas that require funding to help the company grow and survive in such tough times, one main area being marketing!
Marketing is essential practice when looking for new business and retaining customers. Many people see marketing as just sales or advertising – this is not the case. The Chartered Institute of Marketing define marketing as ‘The management process responsible for identifying , anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably’
There are many campaigns and strategies that can be put in place in order to achieve successful marketing of a company. We as a company have successfully implemented many bespoke campaigns and strategies for our clients that have seen results!
Chris Thackray at Southsea Telecom: “We were looking for a local marketing consultancy to help build our company profile and bring on some new business. We approached The Web Taylor who implemented a campaign that brought in some substantial clients. They gave us sound advice in other business operations and were very impressed with the results. We would definitely recommend The Web Taylor.”
We like seeing results, and there’s nothing we like more that to see our clients succeed and grow. If you would like more information, or would like to arrange a meeting so we can show you exactly what we can do please contact us or call 0845 519 1568.
